Commission for Equality and Human Rights: Community Consultation
To inform work on setting the Commission for Equality and Human
Rights, WEU commissioned a study to bring together a number of focus
groups, drawn from community groups and organisations across
England. Through these groups we wanted to hear first hand
about people's day-to-day experiences of discrimination to ensure
that the Commission's work programme is informed by people's real
life experiences. We tried hard to involve groups that have no
or very little contact with Government normally. The study was
carried out by the University of Central Lancashire and Elborough
Consulting Ltd.
