Better Regulation- GEO Simplification Plan
All major government departments and agencies produced
simplification plans as part of the Government's drive for better
regulation. Better regulation is about cutting out
unnecessary paperwork and out of date rules – making life simpler
for everyone.
Details of the steps we are taking to reduce administrative
burdens and our other simplification measures can be found in our
Simplification Plan. In achieving our mission of putting
equality at the heart of Government we are keen to strike the right
balance: promoting a fairer society with fair rules for all, while
not imposing undue administrative burdens on business or the public
sector.
GEO Simplification Plans – Annual updates
Comments on the Plan or regulatory activity in
general, can be submitted to the Better Regulation website.
This is a web initiative of the Better Regulation Executive
(BRE). It provides the means to submit practical proposals
for reducing regulatory burdens on business, charities and the
public sector. We would welcome any suggestions to help us
reduce burdens and to encourage and help to support employers to
make progress in improving equality in the workplace. The
